Critique-Squad PurposeOur purpose is to encourage artistic growth through discovery and discussion, regardless of level of expertise and experience.
Critique-Squad consists of 3 parts, both played in the official Critique-Squad Chatroom
Critique-Squad: Competitions Raiding competitions are held in the presence of a Squad-Chief. The Squad-Chief assigns a topic and all game participants in the chat-room go out to search all of DA for the best fitting picture/drawing/poem...deviation.
You have fifteen minutes to complete this task, after which the winner is chosen. The winning entry best fitting the topic receives a raid by the Squad-Chiefs. The game winning participant also receives a raid by Critique-Squad members and a feature in our journal of one of their works.
This is the only game in wich you can rise in rank.
Critique-Squad: Random Raids We organize random gallery raids of deviants’ and room-member’s galleries whenever a Squad-Chief is present!
Gallery Raids?!Raids consist of various members commenting and possibly fav-ing your gallery thoroughly, afterwards sharing their most favored works in the chat-room. If deviant is present at the time of raid…the raided work is discussed in the chat room.
Gallery Raid Express Participants have 5 minutes to go through in room participant's gallery (at least 3 in room galleries) From each person pick your fav deviation from their gallery and post a thumb in chat. Afterwards give a reason as to why you picked that particular deviation and/or if you have a question about it. The present Squad-Chief also chooses one of the favoured works to be uploaded at Critique-Squad.
